What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed and endorsed scheme supported by the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre). It will enable organisations to demonstrate their commitment to cyber security in a simple and low-cost way. It focuses on the successful implementation of five key cyber security measures (or controls) which can protect your business from around 80% of common cyber-attacks.
Cyber Essentials provides base-level security certification and shows you have the key controls in place. Cyber Essentials Plus includes a more in-depth audit of your key controls and systems.
